Warranty Information

At Veranda Vale, we believe that purchasing premium outdoor living products should come with confidence in their quality, craftsmanship and long-term enjoyment.

We carefully select products from established manufacturers, many of which provide limited warranties against defects in materials or workmanship.

This page explains how manufacturer warranties work, what customers can generally expect and how to request assistance if a problem arises.

1. Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Many products sold by Veranda Vale are protected by limited warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.

Warranty coverage varies depending on the manufacturer, product, model, components and intended use.

Depending on the product, a manufacturer warranty may cover defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal use within the applicable warranty period.

The specific manufacturer's written warranty terms determine the coverage, duration, exclusions and available remedies, subject to applicable law.

Please refer to the individual product page or manufacturer documentation for product-specific warranty information.

2. Sauna Structure Warranties

Selected outdoor saunas include limited manufacturer warranty coverage for their structural components.

For products manufactured by LeisureCraft, the manufacturer currently publishes a 5-Year Residential Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Under LeisureCraft's published warranty terms:

  • Coverage begins when the original end-user customer receives the product.

  • Valid warranty claims are addressed through replacement parts.

  • Replacement parts do not restart or extend the original warranty period.

  • Service, labour and installation costs are not included in the manufacturer's parts-only warranty.

  • Normal wear and tear, natural weather conditions, improper installation, inadequate maintenance and failure to follow manufacturer instructions are excluded.

Warranty coverage for other sauna manufacturers may differ.

Customers should review the applicable warranty documentation for their selected product.

3. Sauna Heaters, Controls & Accessories

Sauna heaters, electronic controls and accessories may be manufactured by companies other than the sauna structure manufacturer and are covered by separate warranty terms.

For eligible electric sauna heaters supplied through LeisureCraft, the following warranty periods are published in LeisureCraft's Limited Warranty Policy:

Manufacturer Heater Model Warranty Period Excluded Components
Harvia KIP 3 years Heating elements and sauna stones
Homecraft Revive 3 years Heating element and sauna stones
HUUM DROP 3 years Heating elements, sauna stones and sensors
HUUM HIVE Mini 3 years Heating elements, sauna stones and sensors

LeisureCraft states that it honours the applicable manufacturer's warranty on eligible products purchased through LeisureCraft, subject to the manufacturer's terms, coverage and duration.

Warranty Conditions

The published warranty covers replacement parts only. Labour, service and installation costs are excluded.

Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, inadequate maintenance or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, use or care instructions is not covered.

All electrical connections must be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable requirements. Failure to comply may invalidate manufacturer warranty coverage.

Electronic controllers and other accessories may have separate warranty conditions. Customers should refer to the applicable manufacturer's documentation for details.

These manufacturer warranty conditions do not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

4. General Warranty Exclusions

Depending on the manufacturer's written terms, limited warranties may exclude damage or defects resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Natural weather exposure and expected changes in timber appearance

  • Improper installation or assembly

  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

  • Inadequate maintenance or cleaning

  • Misuse, negligence or accidental damage

  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs

  • Incorrect electrical installation or incompatible components

  • Commercial use where the warranty is limited to residential use

  • Consumable items or components expressly excluded by the manufacturer

These are examples of common manufacturer exclusions. The specific exclusions applicable to your purchase are determined by the relevant warranty terms and applicable law.

5. Installation & Maintenance Requirements

Many premium outdoor products require correct assembly, installation, maintenance and site preparation.

Sauna heaters and electrical equipment must be installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical codes, using appropriately qualified professionals where required.

Outdoor timber structures may also require regular maintenance to preserve their appearance and performance.

Failure to follow manufacturer instructions may affect warranty eligibility.

Customers should retain installation documentation, manuals and purchase records for future reference.

We will review the information and assist you with the appropriate manufacturer warranty process.

The manufacturer may request additional documentation or inspection before determining whether the claim qualifies for coverage.

7. Warranty Repairs & Replacement Parts

Where a manufacturer accepts a warranty claim, the remedy will depend on its applicable warranty terms and the nature of the defect.

Possible remedies may include:

  • Replacement components

  • Repair of an affected component

  • Replacement of a defective product

  • Another remedy provided under the manufacturer's warranty or required by applicable law

Some manufacturer warranties provide replacement parts only and do not cover associated labour, installation or service costs.

Any additional costs or arrangements will be explained where applicable.

8. Freight Damage & Missing Components

Manufacturer warranties are separate from issues involving damage during transportation or missing items at delivery.

If your product arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact Veranda Vale as soon as possible.

Where practical, retain the original packaging and provide photographs of the affected items.

We will assist with coordinating the appropriate resolution with the supplier or freight carrier.

For further details, please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.

9. Warranty Limitations & Consumer Rights

Manufacturer warranties are provided subject to their applicable terms and conditions.

Nothing on this page is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer rights or legal remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where applicable law provides rights or remedies beyond a manufacturer's limited warranty, those legal rights will take precedence.
